Biography
| I started as a musician, then I more and more did sound engineering, mixing, recording, touring. On the side, I did record covers, tour posters, a few leather jackets --- and was happy to do the occasional magazine illustration. On the road I came across tons of interesting stuff and filled countless notepads with sketches of people, animals, objects: almost anything I saw. [link] When I finally thought I'd collected enough material I started painting in oil and acrylic. 1998 I had my first art show at Krasnapolsky, Gothenburg. As of now (2004) I've had roughly a dozen shows, done some conceptual and storyboard art for film, as well as taken up illustrating again. Parallel to this, I've also always loved photography, and as the age of desktop film making dawned, I started filming and editing. Yesterday I learned that a documentary film of mine, "They Call Us Fans", has been accepted at the Gothenburg Film Festival of 2005. [link] |
